What a piece of work is a man, how noble in reason, how

infinite in faculties, in form and moving how express and

Religious Prurient Art: St. Sebastian in history and male iconography

For a compendium writings of St. Sebastian and his historic appeal to gay men, see The Wild Reed, July 23, 2009.  The images below are from this admirable post.

This is the guy They say you will want to turn to
if ever you are faced with bubonic plague.
Don't know if he is good at protecting
against other kinds of plague.
Thirty to sixty percent of Europeans
who turned to him during the Black Death

 died.

 Horribly.

The angel who didn't save St. Sebastian, for unknown reasons.
