This quintessence of dust

What a piece of work is a man, how noble in reason, how

infinite in faculties, in form and moving how express and

admirable . . . . and yet,to me, what is this quintessence of dust?

TOYS FOR BAD BOYS

Billy, from Strighttohell.net

Νίκος  Ο στρίπερ
The strippers

for four years in a row.
Don't know why.)

Tributes for transgressive Zeus, the First Bad Boy

This Erichthonius had a son Tros,
who ruled the Trojans, and Tros then fathered

three outstanding sons—Ilus, Assaracus,
and godlike Ganymede, the handsomest man
among all mortal men, so beautiful,
gods kidnapped him and made him cup bearer

to Zeus himself, so he'd live among immortals.
Homer, Iiad Book 20

Some  Tributes
fit life on Olympus,
free and joyous are they;
some need initial restraint;
some require discipline--
more or less severe--
to accede to their new eternal lives;
some arrogant few
reject Zeus's attentions:
they are returned to Mundania
to live our their short, unhappy lives.

The repressive Calvinists in Holland were less taken with Ganymede's beauty and fate than others.  Here is the great Rembrandt's disapproving version:

Rembrandt, The Rape of Ganymede (16235)

Here is early Greek version, (500–490 BC. Side B: Zeus in pursuit.), closer in time and spirit to the original.

Here are some contemporary tributes to offer to Great Zeus, in the hope of a reward of Immortal Horses.  Not all the Tributes of noble birth:   the inbreeding, you know.

Source lost.

Anthony C.  "Espero les guste este bombón morochito!!"  Don't know what "morochito" means; neither does google.
Recommended.  Good pics of Anthony C.

South Korean action star Byung-hun Lee, all his movies recommended.

THE BURNING FONT: January 2013  This blog is the only source I can find for this
lovely guy.  Glad to keep him in publication.

Easy adjustment
to certain aspects
of Olympic mores.

Fiercely independent.
Adjustment to the mores of Olympus
will be near impossible.
And interesting.
Image taken in a wrestling club in Gori, Georgia.  Highest recommendation.

†  From Erichthonius of Dardania  The mythical King Erichthonius of Dardania and Batia (died c. 1368 BC) was the son of Dardanus or Darda, King of Dardania, and Batia, (although some legends say his mother was Olizone). Erichthonius became king of Dardania when his elder brother Ilus died childless. Homer called him "the richest man on earth", because he inherited kingdoms from both his father and his mother's father.
Erichthonius' wealth came from his horses, who were said to be wondrous. Erichtonius received the horses from Zeus as compensation for his son Ganymede.
